Royal Mech Industries is a reputed manufacturer of metal mill roll shafts in India. In our conventional mill stands, the housing and cap assemblies are heavily built and the rolls rotate on fibre or anti-friction bearings in chocks. These chocks slide in the up and down direction within the housings where inside liners are fitted.
The roll gap is kept accurately controlled through a screw-down system where the worm gearboxes are installed on top of the housing cap. The rolls are electrically powered and through a series of drives and spindles, the rolls are made to work effectively. On the top and bottom sides of each mill stand housing, and cap assemblies are joined by fabricated members. The mill stands have a balanced housing construction and can withstand rolling loads while experiencing minimal deflection.
